I was not to sure about this pad at first. I was worried it would not do anything i was also affraid it would slip or press funny on my horses withers. However after trying sevral other lifter pads (some of witch where very expensive) and having no luck with any of them i figured I would give this one a try..what did i have to loose. It worked just great! I have an apendix mare who has the TB withers and my saddle was forever slopping forward. I put my standered felt work pad on with this lifter pad over the top of the work pad and it works perfectly! it gives just enough lift to even out my saddle with out tipping it to far back. If you add a show blanket over this combo it looks great can't even tell the lifter pad is undear there at all.
I'm so glad i got this pad i wish i would have gotten it in the first place who would have ever though something so cheep and simple would save me from having to spend money on a new saddle :)
