Professional’s Choice patented Air Ride Suspension System utilizes thousands of air pockets to create a system that is lighter weight than traditional pads and prevents pressure in the most sensitive areas of the horse’s back. Top layer works to conform to the saddle, while the bottom layer conforms to the horse and fills in any inconsistencies between the two, creating a custom fit for any horse and saddle. In addition to the innovative Air-Ride Suspension System, the PrthoSport features a cut-away at the withers, additional air pockets to better fit the hollow behind the shoulders and an air channel along the spine. The extra padding on either side of the withers is a good feature as well as the cut out area over the withers. The outside material seems to be very durable and washes up nicely. Overall I am quite happy with it.
