Rope noseband is reasonably light. Moderate lift and lots of flex. 7" cheeks.

In rough hands, a hackamores' rope nose band can have quite a bite. Consider wrapping it with Vetrap for cushion.

This is a great hackamore for a dead head horse. However if you have a horse with more of a spirit I don't suggest it. Also the rough rope part is very stiff and cut up my horses nose and had to be wrapped with vet wrap to prevent further damage.

This is one of my favorite bits, it's acutally what converted me to using hackamores. It's great for a horse with a lot of natural rate that just needs you to set him up for the barrel or for a horse that just needs a light touch. Great for bending and flexing and slow work. A great little bit that works on a number of horses. The rope nose is stiff at first but does break in over time.
