Really conforms to your horse and the contoured shape doesn't slip after the horse sweats a little. I have tried several pads and this Is by far the best pad!

I have a short back horse with very little withers that is very hard to fit. I have tried several pads out there and this saddle pad really molds to the horse like it says. This pad breaths and it does feel like it is shock absorbing. My mare has very sensitive skin and this pad has nice fleece bottom that does not bother her. The contoured shape helps keep the saddle upright. I ride with a circle y saddle that is very light and this pad has really made the difference keeping the saddle in the right place. As soon as the horse sweats a little the pad sticks right to the horse and conforms. Once you take the pad off it airs out pretty quickly and regains it shape fast. I think I have tried every pad out three and would always pull my pad off at the end of the ride and find some bumps on her spine.... and this is by far my favorite pad that does not leave any bumps...I would recommend this for anyone having difficulty.
