I love this bit, i used it on my 7 year old horse that i was starting to really push on the barrel pattern. Its a great transition bit to go to from a snaffle.

I really love this bit, and I was just wondering, what part of the horse's training should I transition from the snaffle to this bit? I've been working on my mare with the basics, and we are almost going to start pattern work. I'm just not sure if I should go ahead and use it yet. So anyone who used it want to tell me?
