Could of been a good bit but you can't keep the curb chain on: I had to rubberband it onto the clasp. If you use pliers to close the clasp you wont be able to adjust it ever again for other horses. If you leave it the wau it came, it falls off while riding.

I love this bit! I now ride both my horses in it, replacing two bits. My 1D mare and my young gelding have both responded beautifully. You simple adjust the headstall and the chain for more/less control. I haven't had any problem with the curb chain falling off when I'm riding. This bits' quality is very evident as soon as you get it out of the box, its balance, feel, and weight are awesome.
