I love these reins! They are the waxed type, so they have awesome grip and control. they aren't light weight, but they aren't too heavy either. The knots are great for hand placement. Overall the best reins for barrel racing and other events, and they won't break the bank either!

By far my favorite reins. Sturdy and the knots provide for the same hand position every run. Love them. Going to order more actually!
