We rode 7 hours one day up and down hills with 8 horses in the Badlands at Medora ND the only horse that was not cinch sore the next day was the one with a airflex cinch. The horse seems to be more comfortable too. I never roped with one so I can not rate it for roping, but in trail and barrel racing they get 5 stars. They are size specific if it is to long or short they do not work. So if you ride different size horses you will have to own more than one size.
